The Franklin Square Historical Society was founded in 1976 as an invaluable community resource by its current president Paul van Wie, Ph.D. The society has a collection of hundreds of artifacts and a photography archive which will in part eventually be on display in the exhibit spaces of our new museum to openĀ in 2011.
